About 3 months back my wife and I celebrated our seventh year anniversary and I must say that I must be the most fortunate man on earth because she is still with me! You see when we first met I told her that I would give her the world. Needless to say, she had to settle for a small 1 bedroom student housing apartment on the 5th floor, a small George Foreman grill, and a 1992 Honda Accord with about 450,000 miles on its last good spark plug. Hey I didn’t tell her how much of the world I would give her! That was November 2003 and let’s just say we’ve made some serious upgrades since then! If you’re anything like me, you want the very best for your family and pay check to paycheck living just wasn’t cutting it for me! I wanted more out of life but I had trouble getting on that beating path. Trust me, I have been in there. From October 1997 to December 2006 it seemed like the more I tried different business opportunities the more I felt like a failure. It seemed that whenever I took one small step forward, I was knocked ten steps backwards, ever felt like that? Nothing worked for me and I could not find out why. I’ve been involved in almost every area of marketing, the list would go on about that so I will save you from boredom. I’ve even made some money but nothing truly worked out for the long haul. Maybe a few hundred here or there, definitely no solids returns that’s for sure. You see, I’m the type of person that was raised to work hard. I never dove into a business and expected money to just fall out of the sky and land in my lap. I’ve always had the mentality that true success can ONLY come if you put in the time and the more I actually worked these businesses the more I came up empty handed. I found myself blaming “The World of Internet Marketing” saying that the world was just full of scams and no one really succeeds online, this list goes on and on and on. Who was really the blame? Was it the industry? Was it the actual business models? Was it the faulty set up for failure systems? The reality was that I was really blaming myself because I did not believe that I could become successful. It finally hit me on December 2, 2006 as I was sitting at my computer around 3 AM with a cup a coffee just staring at the monitor. It was like magic, I was sitting in the right place at the right time when I received a pop-up banner on my monitor that read, “Your Destiny is in Your Vision…Define it!”
Honestly, this fell from heaven because when I dropped my cup of HOT coffee and tried to click on the banner it disappeared and I tried like crazy to find it again but no luck. I immediately checked my pop-up blocker and amazingly it showed that the function was turned on. I very well may be the first person on earth who has been saved by such an event. I realized over the course of within a few short minutes following the magical event that the main reason that I wasn’t succeeding in my marriage, my finances, my family, or my life was because I did not have a “Clear Vision” or a “Clearly Defined” plan about what I wanted out of life.
Up until that point everything had been all about me and not about what I could do to help people. I began studying material from great keynote speakers like Jack Canfield, Tony Robbins, and Les Brown just to name a few. From December 2006 to July 2007, I spent every minute learning from the best business minds in the world. I did not focus on landing the right business opportunity or even making money, I just focused on improving myself. I took about a year off of my entrepreneurial vision and decided to get back into the job market and landed a sales job working for a Tax Firm in August 2008 and unfortunately the company went bankrupt due to the collapse in the economy in July 2010. I saw this as my big opportunity to start over. I decided to take a different approach this time around. I read blogs, did research, joined forums, chat communities, and social media sites to find out what online business were making the biggest impact in people’s lives.
This is when a found the greatest business opportunity on earth, in my opinion. (Global Success Club)
